Jonathan grew up in Durham, North Carolina where he attended The Church of The Good Shepherd before his family was called to join Christ Community Church in Chapel Hill as founding members. He moved to Pittsburgh to study physics and math at Carnegie Mellon University, where he attended City Reformed Presbyterian church. Now, he is in graduate school at Rice University studying physics and is the Setup Volunteer Coordinator for Advent.
