About Us
Advent's mission is to embrace, embody, and extend the grace of Jesus Christ to the Texas Medical Center, Rice University area, and surrounding neighborhoods. The Christian Student Fellowship is a ministry of Advent, and we, too, seek to embrace, embody, and extend the grace of Jesus Christ to med students, and equip them to serve God through medicine. We focus on caring for and connecting with medical students at the TMC, whether that be through one on ones, connecting students with established small groups and Bible studies, or hosting small events here and there where students can rest, fellowship with each other, and connect with medical professionals who love the Lord and want to care for the students as well.
