Jacky was born and raised in Hong Kong and went to Penn State for his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In college, he met his wife Carmen in student fellowship, and they deepened their relationship through studying organic chemistry together. Soon after, they got married in Pennsylvania and moved to Houston for Carmen’s PhD in Microbiology. Jacky was a high school biology teacher before he was called to Seminary during the pandemic, and he joined Reformed Theological Seminary for his Master of Divinity training. Jacky is now attending Advent Presbyterian Church and serves as a pastoral intern here. Both Jacky and Carmen love anime, sushi, walking their dog Uschi, and playing video games when they have time.
