Beverly Gault
Ministry Operations Coordinator
Beverly grew up in southwest Pennsylvania, the fifth of six children, with loving parents who brought them up in a small Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Beverly worked in the healthcare field all her professional career, including in the medical laboratory, in hospital business office consulting, and in hospital-based business services. In 1990, she met and married her love, Paul, with whom she worked together professionally and in lay ministry. During her professional career she lived in the DC area, Baltimore, Chicago, and Indianapolis until arriving in Houston in 2012 to be close to her step-daughter’s growing family. In 2016, Beverly left corporate healthcare to travel with her husband and three dogs, living full-time in their RV for “a year.” Five years later, they replaced the RV with a condo in the River Oaks area. While there are elements of the RV life-style she misses, like the views and the campfire conversations, she is happy to be in a permanent location where she can build new relationships.
Over the years, Beverly has been involved in various lay ministries such as the Great Banquet, Kairos Prison Ministry International, Walk to Emmaus, and Bible Study Fellowship International, where she most recently served as an Online Group Leader. Additionally, Beverly has been engaged with the Texas Medical Center (TMC) in numerous capacities: as a consultant at several health systems, as an employee at Houston Methodist Hospital, and as a healthcare consumer. TMC and surrounding areas have touched Beverly in many ways over the years, and she is excited to join the Advent Houston staff as Ministry Operations Coordinator.
